Create a Jewish Legacy

Since its founding in 1988, Congregation B’nai Torah of Brentwood has been a warm and welcoming place for Jews and their families to meet, socialize, study, and pray.

We are a close-knit and accepting congregation, and we believe in including everyone in all aspects of our community—regardless of background, Jewish knowledge, comfort with Hebrew, and level of observance.

We are a community where all can deepen their connection with Jewish culture and with each other. Together, we celebrate life cycle events and holiday observances, and engage in worship and study.

Congregation B’nai Torah is the only Reform Jewish temple in east Contra Costa County. Our Legacy donors are people like you who believe, as did those who founded our community, that we must nurture and grow Judaism and Jewish values here for the benefit of those who will follow us.

Your Legacy gift will ensure that Congregation B’nai Torah—and Jewish life in East Contra Costa County—remains vibrant, engaging, and strong for future generations.

You can make a legacy gift through a beneficiary designation in your will, trust, retirement plan or life insurance policy.

Sample language for your will or trust:

“To Congregation B’nai Torah, tax payer identification number 68-0238159, I give [___% of the remainder of my estate / the sum of $_____].”
